Omaha Tamil Palli |
Based on request and interest from our Tamil community, Tamil Sangam is very happy to announce the launch of Tamil Palli at Omaha. We are able to work with Hindu Temple and secure class rooms inside Social Hall. Classes will be held on Saturdays from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon. We are tentatively planning to start regular classes from first week of September 2014. |

Open House |
We will be conducting an open house session for our Omaha Tamil Palli at Hindu Temple, on Sunday, June 22nd 2014 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon. We are requesting everyone to attend this session and share your thoughts with us. Volunteer teachers will be present during this session to get input from parents. We will also have text books for level KG through 5 for you to review. |

What is the minimum age for the child to join Tamil Palli? |
4 years. |
Is there any screening test for the child to decide which level they are going to be? |
No. Teachers will evaluate the child and decide which level to start with. |
Is there any restriction to go from one level to another? |
No. Child can take any level exam and qualify without taking the previous level. |
What is the duration of the class? |
Start with minimum one hour. It may go up to 2 hours depending on Students and Teachers. |
How many classes per year? |
25 classes. |
How many examinations per year? |
3 examinations. |
How much cost for the books and work books? |
Approximately $40 per student per year. |
Is there any Teacher training/orientation available? |
Yes. Available online. |
