The Omaha Tamil Sangam was started by Dr SelvaKumar in 2000 to bring the Tamil community of Omaha together. The main purpose of this community is to enrich the bonding between local Tamil speaking population and to inculcate the vast tradition and culture to the next generations to come.
The OTS doesn't stop with just festival celebrations, there are number of activities we organize around the calendar year like,
- Free Health Checkup camps ( Open for all public )
- Fund Raisers for donating to charities across the globe.
- Summer games and outdoor activities
- Pot Lucks
